Our transporters don't just pick up horses and take them places, they are horse lovers and really care. Many have horses , breed, compete, teach , train and are involved with horses in many day to day activities, giving them the perfect understanding to care and transport your equine. This page is to give you an insight into their lives and experiences that make them who they are.

A recent account from one of our transporters,
"John Lovett Horse Transport always likes a challenge ALLHALLOWS ESSEX TO BULGARIA.We transported horses down to Huskova. We travelled through Belgium, Germany Austria, Hungary, Romania and finally into southern Bulgaria 200 miles off the Turkish border!
Just to make things interesting we travelled back through Serbia. So Serbia -----came up to Sofia and through Serbia coming out at Szeged Hungary. The roads where amazing in Serbia no traffic and new roads, but the down side if you are in lorries expect delays of up to one day to get through the border crossing into Hungary complete nightmare (unless you are willing to pay for the UNOFFICIAL VIP LANE cash only..) A fantastic trip horses arrived safely and in great shape thanks to the help of Debbie who made sure they were more than cared for the whole trip."

Essex Horse Transport have a new employee of the furry cute kind! Meet Rodney, available to keep your nervous traveller company should he be needed. Rodney had a successful first outing when he accompanied a mare from Shrewsbury to Essex. I believe extra carrots were in order that evening!
As you can see, Rodney may be small but does a good job.

Oliver Harwood has been with Horse Transport Network for some time now and is better know as "Essex Horse Transport", a popular transporter who has developed a great understanding of horse boxes and design, now branching out further into (http://harwoodshorseboxes.co.uk/) Harwoods Horse Boxes
Oli says" Harwood's was formed after building many boxes by request without marketing, and finding ourselves snowed under with work. Many of our clients told us to brand our products and here we are building bespoke boxes, offering various options to all types of people with varying budgets to suit".
Harwood's mission is to be the best value horsebox builders in the U.K. offering great choice of build with options that are not currently available on the market.
We at Horse Transport Network wish them all the best with their expanding business, and being transporters themselves must give them great insight into the best design for your needs.

Middle Upcott Farmhouse
Barry and Susan Turner (B and S Horse Transportation and A2B Horse Transport) moved to their 14th Century farmhouse nearly 12 years ago. Since then they have spent most of their time getting it to a very high standard as you can see from their website Middle Upcott Farm .
Not only that they have built new stables, bespoke dog kennels, and a very large agricultural barn to allow guests to stay with not only all the facilities they need for themselves in the farmhouse, but for horses, dogs and the vehicles they arrive with. Why not visit this wonderful location and explore Exmoor National Park in your own time and at your own pace.
You can organise to ride from A to B and Barry can pick you up and return you to base with your horses, so no need to take a round trip, ride for miles! if you have no horse transport no problem, you can even have the horses brought to the location for you. They say a change is as good as a rest, and what a wonderful way to enjoy your horse on holiday!

John Lovett Horse Transport has been busy helping the R.S.P.C.A.
"I had the pleasure of working with the R.S.P.C.A rescuing horses. I could not believe the commitment and dedication of these guys, all ladies actually!! We rescued three horses and took them to the R.S.P.C.A stables, a complete success on their part and very happy horses.
Please let us remember animals at Christmas and the fantastic job the R.S.P.C.A. does behind the
scenes, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, and the people who work without compromise to save animals from bad treatment and neglect. WELL DONE THE R.S.P.C.A."
